EXPLORING PBM

PROGRAM 2

INTEGRATING PBM

EXPLORING PBM

Learning while Exploring!

To discover and experience Project Business Management (PBM) in practice.

Up to 1 day

The program is delivered through an interactive serious game — the PBM Action Game — in which realistic Project Business scenarios are simulated.
Participants apply key PBM tools, techniques, and mindsets, and immediately test their effectiveness in real time: fostering collaboration and teamwork while co-developing the project.

Learning takes place through action, interaction, and reflection — all while playing and having fun.

Program 1 is well suited for:

Training and awareness sessions - Team-building events - Corporate events

INTEGRATING PBM

Learning while Doing!

To integrate Project Business Management (PBM) into the organization’s practices.

Depending on your organization’s size: minimum 2 days.

The program is delivered as a facilitated workshop in which participants work together to define how PBM can be embedded as a management discipline and used as an operating system for Project Business.

Participants explore how to apply PBM in their day-to-day activities — both internally and externally — to foster collaboration, improve alignment, and develop projects more effectively.

By the end of the program, participants will have:

1. A shared understanding of PBM
  • A common view of what PBM is (and is not)
  • Alignment on why PBM matters for the organization’s Project Business performance (Benefits).
2. A clear PBM integration map
  • Identification of where PBM fits within existing processes, roles, and governance
  • Clarification of interfaces with project management, sales, procurement, engineering, and operations
3. Selected PBM practices to implement
  • Clear focus on where collaboration between client and supplier creates the most value
  • Prioritized list of PBM Building Blocks and Joint Activities relevant to the organization
4. An initial PBM operating model
  • How PBM will be used in day-to-day project development
  • Who does what, when, and with whom (roles, responsibilities, decision points)
5. Concrete next steps and action plan
  • Short-term actions to pilot PBM on selected projects
  • Medium-term actions to scale PBM across the organization
6. Increased alignment and commitment
  • Stronger cross-functional alignment among participants
  • Management and team commitment to applying PBM in real projects

At the end of the workshop, the organization leaves with a tailored PBM integration roadmap — practical, realistic, and immediately actionable.
